Thank you, if you took part in our Happiness survey!

The survey was happily launched on Saturday 14 May 2011 and has now closed. Over 400 people gave us their views on how they felt about living in Hexham, Acomb, Sandhoe and Humshaugh. We've already begun to analyse the answers to the questions and will be posting some of the findings here and at a public meeting later in the summer.  We plan to hold further surveys and you can find out about them here.

STATUS -   CLOSED

Central Tynedale Community Forum exists to:

  • raise issues local people want to raise
  • stimulate open and reasonable debate
  • expect action in response to local views
  • bridge the gap between local people and the County Council, and other bodies such as the Police and the NHS

If you live, work, study or shop in Hexham, Acomb, Sandhoe and Humshaugh, you are a member of the Central Tynedale Community Forum.

The Forum is still in its infancy, and it can’t work without you!

Make it work for you.   Have a voice…

  • at its open meetings
  • by leaving your comments at "Have your say".

Help us prioritise our tasks by completing this survey

If you know someone who might be interested but doesn't have access to the Internet, download a copy of our leaflet here.

At an open meeting we discussed spending priorities for 2010-2011 for both Northumberland County and Hexham Town councils.   It was a chance to tell both councils what you thought they should be spending our money on!  For further details about this meeting, click on "What we are doing" on the main menu.

There was also a display in the Queen's Hall foyer in November 2010, which gave information relevant to the meeting.
